An item is not in the total
It has no value yet (Need a value on the overview), or it is valued in a currency with no exchange rate — add one in Markets. See Currencies and exchange rates.
No gain is shown
The cost is missing, incomplete, or in a different currency. See Cost and gain.
A metal or coin's value did not change when prices updated
It was switched to manual when a value was typed by hand. Choose Follow the market price on its page. See Following the market.
The chart jumped up
A purchase, not a gain — the chart shows value, not return. See Reading the value-over-time chart.
A spreadsheet import was refused
A re-imported export is refused if the catalog changed since it was made — export again. Other problems are listed per row in the preview. See Editing in a spreadsheet (CSV round trip).
A PDF will not open
Password-protected PDFs cannot be shown in the app — save a copy and open it in a PDF reader.
The backup folder says “Not found”
The drive is unplugged or the folder moved. Plug it in, or Choose another….
The vault locked by itself
It locks after inactivity — change the time in Settings → Security. See Unlocking and locking.
I deleted something by mistake
Restore it from Settings → Trash within 30 days. See Deleting and restoring items.
