- Held — in your possession and counted in today's totals.
- Sold — recorded with Record change → Sold all. It leaves today's totals but stays in the catalog with its history; past totals still include it.
- Lost — lost, stolen or destroyed. Set it with Edit → Status, with the date. It leaves today's totals, and can be included in an insurance claim with its value from before the loss. See Preparing an insurance claim.
- Retired — no longer counted (worn out, given away) but kept for the record.
A lost or retired item can be set back to held — the history shows Recovered.
In Holdings, the status menu shows Held, Sold, Lost & retired or Everything.
