Reports → Insurance inventory builds a document of everything held: photos, identifying details, cost, value — and where each value came from, so an assessor can tell a market price from an estimate.
Choose what to include:
- Include photos — up to four per item.
- List documents on file — receipts, appraisals and certificates by title and date, not their contents.
- Show how values were reached — comparables, range and confidence. See Evidence for a value.
- Include storage locations — off by default; usually unnecessary, and a list of where valuables are kept should not leak.
- Include notes.
- Include items marked lost — each with the date lost and its value from before.
