1. In Holdings choose More actions → Inventory checks….
  2. Choose Where — a place, which includes the places inside it — or Everything held. Give the check a Name and choose Start.
  3. For each item, choose Here or Missing, or type a number and choose Count when you counted a different quantity. Or scan its label (or type its short code) into Scan a label and press Enter to mark it here.
  4. Choose Finish and review when done. A check is saved as you go, so you can Resume it later.

The review lists what is missing, what has a different count, and what was not checked. Nothing is changed for you — a missing item may only be misplaced:

  • Open — mark lost or note it for a missing item.
  • Correct to … to fix a count; it is recorded as a correction from this check.

Each item marked here gets a Last seen date on its page. Deleting a check removes its marks and those dates.

Labels make checks quick: Printing QR labels.

A check keeps the items and quantities recorded when it started. A count can be corrected once, while the holding still matches that baseline; later purchases or changes require a new check. Older checks without a saved baseline remain available for reference.

Check history remains when an item is removed from the catalog. Delete the check itself to remove those saved observations.
