Asset Manager works fully offline. It has no account, no analytics, no telemetry and no update check.
Only three optional features go online, each only when you use or enable it:
- metals.dev — asked for spot prices. It learns that someone at your IP address wants metal prices.
- CoinGecko — asked for the prices of the coins you hold, so it learns which coins those are.
- Balance lookup (off by default, Settings → Privacy) — sends a watch-only Bitcoin address to blockstream.info, which learns that someone at your IP is interested in it.
No item names, values, photos or locations are ever sent.
